From the 3th of march until the 1st of july 2018 a beautiful exhibition about the artist Antonio Ligabue at Palazzo Ducale.

 

About sixty pantings will be exposed, also his drawings and engravings coming from private collections.

There are two main themes of his work: exotic animals and his self portrait, a bitter poetry that represents a proud affirmation of its value as artist.

Ligabue can be surely considered a great European artist.
