Built in the 16th century for the nobleman Vincenzo Imperiale, this villa is located in Sampierdarena, one of the cities' most densely populated neighbourhoods.
At the start of the 20th century, the noble building was transformed into the Ospedale Villa Scassi, today the city's third- largest hospital.
The villa is also known as "The Beauty", thanks to the majestic gardens that unfold over a hill, embellished with a beautiful fountain of Neptune, numerous terraces and lush vegetation.
