From June 7th to 17th the 24th edition of the International Poetry Festival will take place in Genoa. “Parole Spalancate” is the greatest and oldest Italian poetry event, which portrays poetry in every form, from classicals to the newest trends, but also in relationship with other arts, like music, cinema, theatre and visual arts.
There wil be more than 90 guests during this edition, among them Maddalena Crippa, the famous radio host Gianluca Nicoletti, the poet and songwriter for Lucio Battisti Pasquale Panella with Lucio Saviani, David Riondino, the great Chilean poet Raul Zurita, the Italian rapper Murubutu, Sergio Claudio Perroni, the Spanish Eloy Sanchez Rosillo and the Venezuelan Armando Rojas Guardia, the Celtic harpist Vincenzo Zitello, the French-Senegalese poet and rapper Souleymane Diamanka, but also the songwriter Filippo Graziani, who will dedicate a special homage to his father Ivan.
Moreover this year Parole spalancate launches the Salone dei Resilienti, a two-days event dedicated to Italian publishing houses and paper and online magazines, which talk about poetry.
The eventi s part of 'Genova città dei Festival', organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Genoa.
