The colours and fragrances of Euroflora return to Genoa in the unique scenario of the Nervi parks from 21 April to 6 May 2018: 86 thousand square meters and 5 kilometers of paths between gardens and historic villas overlooking the sea for a unique experience which starts from the tradition of the great Italian floralies .The first Euroflora took place in 1966, this edition will be the eleventh and it will be organized with a new and spectacular format.

Each visitor will be able to invent his own itinerary by following his favorite route: EUROFLORA visual experience, EUROFLORA perfume path, EUROFLORA exaltation of nature, EUROFLORA dance of flowers and musical notes.

Euroflora is the most important among the European floralies, recognized since its first edition, in 1966, by the Association Internationale des Producteurs Horticoles, it is part of the Association of International Floralies. This edition - promoted by the Municipality of Genoa in collaboration with the Liguria Region and the Chambers of Commerce of Genoa and the Rivieras and the support of the investee companies - is part of the European year dedicated to the protection of cultural heritage.

Useful information

Opening hours to the public: Euroflora will be open every day from Friday 21 April to Sunday 6 May from 9a.m to 19.30p.m.

Entrance tickets: Tickets can be purchased exclusively on pre-sale on line from February 10th on the website www.euroflora2018.it and they will be available in the network of Best Union Vivaticket points and in the affiliated travel agencies. Other sales points in the city: Palazzo Ducale ticket office and, starting from Fiera Primavera, at the Fair.
Free entrance for 100% disabled visitors (you can pick up your ticket directly at the welcome desk in via Eros da Ros or in via Capolungo) and, when proven necessary, a helper will be available. Reduced-price ticket for visitors with at least a 67% disability are sold for 16 euros.

How to reach Euroflora

The Nervi parks will only be reachable by public transport. In the city area, parking lots will be set up in the Kennedy’s square and areas inside the exhibition center with shuttle services to the railway stations to reach the event. The frequencies of the trains to and from Nervi and of the buses in the times of the event will be intensified.

The train is the best way to reach the Parchi di Nervi: the station of Genova Nervi is 150 meters far from the Euroflora main entrance (via Eros da Ros). Owners of Euroflora tickets can travel freely to and from the exposition in the metropolitan area that goes from Genova Voltri and Genova Nervi; during opening hours, the train frequency between Genova Brignole and Genova Nervi is of 4 trains per hour on average, even ion holidays.

The tourist buses parking area is located in corso Europa and has 147 parking spots connected by free shuttle bus service to Nervi (at the beginning of via Oberdan). We advise you to take the Genova Nervi highway exit. Other parking areas, that you can reach by taking the Genova-Est highway exit, can be found in piazzale Kennedy (the Fiera area) by free shuttle bus service to the station of Genova Brignole. Parking fee is 50 euros for both areas.

The 15 and 17 bus lines connect the city centre directly to Nervi. On the Amt  website you can plan the easiest route to the train station of Genova Brignole.

Genoese taxi drivers offer flat rates for the main routes from and to Nervi. With a taxi you can reach the main entrances of the exposition and leave from the temporary parking areas pinpointed for Euroflora. The Radio Taxi Genova service can be reached at following phone number 010.5966 and grants the adequate service also for people with disabilities or motor skill problems.

By car: in any case, we advise you to park in the piazzale Kennedy area (the Fiera area), which is linked to the station of Genova Brignole with a free shuttle bus service. Tha daily fee for this area is 10 euros. Customers of hotels located in Nervi and equipped with an adjacent parking lot will be able to access this area presenting their hotel reservation to the Polizia Municipale at the gates. If you come from the A12 highway, you can find 290 car parking spots in Recco, the daily fee is 7 euros (info www.comune.recco.ge.it). Recco is connected to Nervi by train, by ATP bus and by taxi. By Caravan. The piazzale Kennedy (the Fiera area) parking area is linked to the station of Genova Brignole by a free shuttle bus service. The daily fee for this parking area is 20 euros. Here all camping actvities are forbidden.

Connection by sea Genova Porto Antico Calata Mandraccio - Genova Nervi. The departures will be carried out with a minimum number of paying passengers. The service will be available only with favourable sea and weather conditions, as valued by the boat captain. Departures from Genova Porto Antico (Calata Mandraccio) to Genova Nervi: at 10 am and 2 pm. Departures from Genova Nervi to Genova Porto Antico: at 6 pm. Prices from Genova Porto Antico to Genova Nervi: adults round trip € 15; adults departures, or round trip reduced-price tickets € 10. Reduced-price tickets are available for visitors from 5 to 14 years old.

Euroflora 2018 can be reached and visited also by elicopter. The service is offered by the Novaris company and will allow visitors to leave a special experience, departing from the main cities of Northern Italy (but not only) such as Milan, Montecarlo, Turin, Florence, etc. From April 21st until the end of the exposition, an aircraft will link the helipad located at the Pala Quinto to the Cristoforo Colombo airport in Genoa to the previously mentioned cities.
The service will link the Parchi di Nervi in the most rapid and fascinating way at a moderate price compared to the usual means of transportation.

Accessible Euroflora

The main route of Euroflora starts from the main entrance of via Eros da Ros and was created to be accessible for all, as it is mainly flat. For people with motor skill problems it has been designed a map of the exposition with the indication of the declivity of every segment of the route. At the beginning of via Oberdan (stopover for buses and shuttle buses) you will be able to find an ANPAS vehicle, which will be coordinated in collaboration with volounteers of the Protezione Civile and will bring the passengers to the entrance of via Capolungo (Galleria d’Arte Moderna), near to the "Mobility point" Farmacie Genovesi - Zativa managed by La Cruna. At the Mobility point you will be able to rent for free electric scooters with four wheels and wheelchairs.

To make reservations you will need to write and email at the address turismopertutti@lacruna.com declaring the day and the time slot of your visit and indicating your phone number and the arrival mode (car, train, touristic bus, city bus).
In order to facilitate the process, the following renting time slots have been identified: from 9 am to half past noon or from half past noon to 4 pm or from 4 pm to half past 7 pm.

By taxi. The Radio Taxi Genova service can be reached at following phone number 010.5966 and grants the adequate service also for people with disabilities or motor skill problems.

By car. Disabled people and their helpers who own a car label can use the reserved parking area of viale Franchini, via Casotti andvia Capolungo. Disabled people have a reserved entrance to Euroflora from the entrance of the Galleria di Arte Moderna.

By train. Equipped connections have been made available but they must be reserved 12 hours before the visit by contacting the Sala Blu.

From April 10th, the 800 number 800.070506 is activated: by calling it, you will recieve information about the access to Euroflora for people with disabilities.
The 800 number will be available untill May 6th.
Everyday, from 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday included.
