15-10-2017From the 9th to the 15th of October, Genova will host the European Para Youth Games, an event dedicated to paralympic sport for young people.
A lot of disciplines in the competition: athletics, bowling, footbal, goalball, judo, swimming, table tennis and sail boating.
The Opening Ceremony will take place in Piazza De Ferrari (Genoa) on the 11th of October at 10.30 a.m. During the day some important paralympic athletes, internationally known, will be present.
The competitions are planned in both Genoa and Savona, with the involvement of 6 sport facilities in the first city and one in the second, in which athletics competitions will take place.
26 European Countries are involved, with nearly 600 participants, between contestants and their team, and 1000 volunteers.
